Help with video game “Crysis”?

Question by salmon999 : Help with video game “Crysis” ?I have just picked up Crysis Warhead for my pc and am a little frustrated with it. I have an Nvidia GeForce 8600 GTS and have had no problems with it before. I can run oblivion and bioshock on full graphics with no problems. However when I boot up in Crysis forced to use graphics that look worse than games I played 4 years ago. Is there anything I can do or is there something wrong with my PC?Help appreciated Best answer: Answer by

you could try playing around with the settings to see if that makes any difference it. One thing you could try is visit this site from the list http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest select crysis and let the test run and it will tell you how well your computer can run it.

I’m sorry to say, but no Crysis is a demanding game on the video cards. I would recommend to ATi 1950 or HD 3870 or the nVidia 8800 GT or greater.

the quality had to be rendered in 360 p because otherwise i couldnt play and record at the same time without it lagging like hell, so i figure, this is better than nothing so enjoy! my first walk through this year on this channel! im back people! lol. it is being played on the pc btw just with a 360 controller plugged in to play as that is how i prefer it. thanks for watching: P

side by side shots at robbaz.com I’m slightly disappointed that do not included crytek dx11 at launch, however it’s greatly optimized and probably the best graphical multiplat game i played on par with exclusives. PC settings are, 1920×1080 very high. Ran on a i7 920 & 6950 with over 100 fps. Truly amazing optimizing. But crossfire looks like this images.cheezburger.com

Unfortunately, YouTube compression seems to make this video suffer greatly. I’m going to investigate for a solution! Testing Fraps recording quality. Gameplay gets a little better as it goes along. recording youtube does not fill the box, as my monitor is 3:4. RECORDING TIP: to another hard drive for record far better frame rates while recording. secondary internal is recommended, though benefit from external still gives a. ______________________________________________________________ In Bad Company 2, average frame rate (rounded): 59 fps. Max frame rate: 60fps. Min Frame rate: 57 fps. Because I was recording at 60 fps, that is the maximum possible frame rate. Settings were all at maximum excluding anti-aliasing (though anisotropic filtering was at max), as I was forced to run under DX9 to avoid severe artifiacting. Sadly, the lack of AA under DX9 is very prominent in this game. __________________________________________________________________ In Crysis Warhead, average frame rate in non-ice level (rounded): 36 fps. Max frame rate: 40fps. Min frame rate: 28 fps. Frame rate was limited to 40fps max, as that was the set fps recording. Settings were all at a custom ultra-high equivalent, that gives a better frame rate along with improved graphics. I believe it was one of the CCC mods, though I’m not quite sure.
