Question by : Does it sound like he’s gay I know this is long but please bear with me I’m a 16 year old male from the UK and I’m in love with my friend who is 22ndIt all started about four years ago when I was 12 I used to visit PC World maybe once a fortnight with my other friend that is 12th After a while, I started talking to this guy who worked there (Kevin) we had a laugh and talked for quite a bit when ever we went, often annoying his boss lol. Anyway after several months and the shop closed down without warning so I never saw him again.Then, two years later he added me on facebook Which is really weired because he did not know my full name and I did not have a profile picture at the time. Then after a few weeks of talking almost every night for like half an hour over facebook, I gave him my number, just as friends I do not think he knew I was gay I do not think it’s obvious. Anyway he texted me back and we started texting like not anything extreme just casual everyday lol.After a month of texting we arranged to meet up at my parent’s night club (I was not really allowed, I was only 14 he was 20) I remember me and he said (I knew I’d finally get to see you) Then hugged we just stood for about an hour he put his arm round me but just in a friendly way. We met up a few more times and once we went out in his car, it was really strange because that was the first time I’d seen him sober since I only saw the shop providing him at the nightclub when he was drunk. he was completely different he was quite shy, he had a white shirt on and was sweating loads.One of the main problems is I only ever see him at the nightclub when he is drunk, because he works 12 hour shifts (7-7) then he goes to the gym a lot and often attends football matches. Where I live, my parents own a few nightclubs, restaurants, apartments and other stuff, they are quite well known so me not being gay would be a problem they are really against it but just would not understand and especially since my dad’s known as A hard man lol. Anyway I Introduced Kevin to my parents just as my friend but later that night my mam asked me if he was gay Which was interesting and I just said no He’s not a stereotypical gay man he likes sports like football, boxing and goes to matches and things, he attends the gym a lot and is quite muscley. He tries to impress my parents and act protextive in front of them, and seems paranoid that I would not want to / not be allowed to go anywhere with him. “I would of asked but you would not be allowed”In our texts he’s unpredictable, he only puts “X’s” when he’s drunk or if its a birthday or special occasion, but so do I. He often refes to me as “mate” in our texts but also says stuff like “I wish I was with you “and” I wish you were older xxx “(talking about when he was out drinking, I think he implied he wishes I was older so I could go out drinking with him). So he wants to text me cute things sometimes but then sometimes he seems bored.His identical twin brother is gay, which i sort of know the chances increses I think it’s if one twin is gay the other has a 60% chance of being gay. So his uncle is gay. He has a good relationship with his brother but he seems like sometimes finds it embarrassing one time we saw his brother kissing this lad and we just sort of looked at each other I really wanted to just kiss him. His family accept his brother but secretly are not happy about it.Last year he went to Magaluf with his friends known as Sex Which is basically Iceland of course he might of just wanted a break and stuff but I think it’s more known as Male / female thing. He lied about going until a month before and when I asked him why he lied he said “Because I knew you would go in a mood.” Because we had previously Argued about it. He also lied about smoking and gave the same excuse.A few times he has to ask my ear or kissed / bit my neck. While, he has drunk so said “I love you” but I’m not sure if it’s just a friendly sort of way.I’m not sure if he’s straight and wants to act like a big brother or if he is gay but is nervous about my age. When I’m 18, I just want to but a plane ticket and fly off somewhere and tell him that I’m going and I want a happy ending where he follows me to the airport and we fly off together and runaway together.Lastly, Sometimes I think he is straight and I’ll give up on the idea then he’ll say somethng text Meor Which makes me think. I can not control my feelings for him a few times I have asked to end our friendship with no explantions Which I feel bad but It was about the only thing I could Thurs Whenever I tell him he seems upset but he does not accept it he will text me and write on my facebook lolAnyway please help is he gay?
